Namigni Animal Sanctuary is an international US-based nonprofit based in Colombia, working at the intersection of animal rescue and long-term solutions. We protect farm animals, develop welfare programs for working equids, and lead the only initiative in the world dedicated to the future of Spanish fighting bulls.

Director
Miguel Aparicio is an author and crowdfunding strategist with expertise in digital marketing and research on AI’s social impact. For nearly 30 years, he has been a committed vegan and animal rights advocate, working for animals across Europe and Latin America. His work bridges technology, strategy, and compassion to drive meaningful change.
Bonnie S. Klapper
Treasurer
Bonnie S. Klapper is a former federal prosecutor who served nearly three decades as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in California and New York. She now practices privately, specializing in extraditable defense and foreign assets cases. Beyond her legal work, she is an animal rights advocate offering pro bono support to nonprofits and activists.
Matthew Schwartz
Secretary
Matthew Schwartz is the Director of External Relations at Idealist.org, where he leads partnerships and compliance to advance the nonprofit’s mission. He also co-founded BakedbyNoon.com after transitioning from a corporate career. Beyond his professional work, Matthew is an animal rights activist engaged in anti-fur, exotic animal, and educational campaigns.
