A World-First Challenge

BUILDING A SAFE FUTURE FOR FIGHTING BULLS

As bullfighting declines, thousands of Spanish fighting bulls face an uncertain future — often ending in slaughter or abandonment, with no systems in place to protect them. Namigni Animal Sanctuary is pioneering the only initiative of its kind in the world, rescuing these animals and creating a real alternative through lifelong sanctuary, protection, and care.

Healing the Forgotten

IMPROVING THE LIVES OF WORKING EQUIDS

Across Colombia, thousands of horses, donkeys, and mules work under the most difficult conditions imaginable, often without access to proper care. In partnership with Animal Aid Abroad, Namigni Animal Sanctuary provides veterinary support, education, and practical solutions to improve their welfare — helping relieve suffering, rescuing equines in the most extreme cases, and creating lasting change for those we cannot rescue.

A Hidden Reality

RESCUING SLAUGHTER-BOUND CALVES

In Colombia’s cattle industry, many calves are born at the very moment their mothers arrive at slaughterhouses — instantly orphaned and treated as disposable. With no value to the system, they are often abandoned, killed, or left to die. At Namigni Animal Sanctuary, we rescue these vulnerable baby cows and bulls, giving them a future of safety and care while raising awareness about the “forgotten sons” of the industry and the urgent need for more compassionate solutions.

A Hidden Crisis

EXPOSING THE DONKEY SKIN TRADE

Across Colombia and Latin America, donkeys are being stolen, abused, and slaughtered to supply the international skin trade for “Ejiao” medicine. At Namigni Animal Sanctuary, we rescue and care for these animals while exposing this hidden cruelty and working toward a future where donkeys are no longer exploited for meat and skin.
